In December 2011 we flew to Australia, visited friends, took a cruise Sydney - Auckland. Then we spent 3 wonderful weeks in New Zealand. Pictures to come . . .

Here's some of our 2011 activities

We started out 2011 in southern Spain, Costa del Sol where it was sunny and warm, away from the snow and ice in Sweden.

An early first frost out in the pumpkin patch on Sept 3, 2010 meant an early harvest. Check out what Louie did out in his pumpkin patch.

Midsummer Eve 2010

Everyone knows Grandpa loves trains. Our favorite son-in-law suggested taking the narrow gauge heritage railroad to Lundsbrunn for a traditional Midsummer celebration.

1972

We moved to Sweden -- and stayed. Our daughter Kassie was almost two at the time. She grew up here.

1981

We bought a house, which kind of means we're here to stay.

1999

Kassie married her Patrik. Now we have two gorgeous granddaughters.

2005

In November we sold our house in southern Sweden and moved 220 miles (350 km) north to be closer to our little ones (and their parents). It is fun to watch them grow and be along in their everyday happenings.

Grandma's Brag Book

Every grandma has a brag book, but this one depends on Grandpa's digital camera. Luckily, he likes taking pictures of our two little imps as much as Grandma likes showing them!
